The main attraction to Davis Camp Park is the Colorado River. The park and campground are situated right on the river and offer a great place to spend time on the river.
The park sits below the Davis Dam which is one of the major dams that run the length of the Colorado River. The dam provided hydroelectric power to the are.

There is a small beach at the park that offers a great place to take a dip to cool off from the desert sun. The river current along the park is very fast so this is one of the only places where the current slows down. There are picnic tables and BBQs to enjoy.
