Lake Skinner Recreation Area

Adventure

Lake Skinner Recreational Area provides any van or RV nomad a fun and adventurous place to explore and stay at. Activities at the lake include boating, fishing, camping, hiking, and exploring.

The park area consists of two shade shelters, picnic benches, and barbecues throughout the park for picnics and other gatherings. There is also a camp store that is well stocked and can meet most of van your needs.

Lake Skinner

The main attraction of the park is the lake. The lake allows you to take a boat out and fish for bass, carp, trout, catfish, and bluegill. Although there is no swimming allowed, there is a marina that provides rentals. 

Hiking

There are a few good trails located in the recreational area that you can enjoy. The trails are easy and not that long. The main trails are:

Camping

Lake Skinner Campground offers a great place to park the van and RV and spend a few days enjoying the lake. The campground has 257 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents with 199 full hook-ups, 18 with water and electric hook-ups, and 40 have only water hook-ups.

• Developed site with water and electric hook-up: $40 per night
• Full hook-up site: $50 per night Weekly rates are available
