Redondo Beach Marina

Overview:

Redondo Beach Marina is a great place for any van lifer to visit to enjoy all the activities it has to offer. Just south of Hermosa Beach, the Marina offers sailing, fishing, biking,  paddle boarding, whale watching, arcade, restaurants, and bars. It also includes the Redondo Beach Pier which has good fishing and restaurants. The beaches in the local area are world class so you can’t go wrong with a visit to the Redondo Beach Marina and Pier.

The Redondo Beach Marina is a good place for any van lifer to spend the day and enjoy all the attractions it has to offer. There’s plenty of paid parking within the marina to spend the day on the water or surrounding attractions. The main activities are sailing, fishing off the pier and relaxing on the beach. 

Southbay sailing is the premier sailing outlet in the marina. They offer a variety of sailing experiences and lessons. You can also rent a paddle board from a local shop and spend the day exploring the harbor. This is a great way to visit the sealions  in the middle of the harbor on the barges. 

The Redondo Beach Pier is a South Bay landmark offering oceanfront dining, shopping and entertainment. Enjoy a scenic stroll along the Pier with panoramic ocean views, water activities including harbor cruises, seasonal whale watching, kayaks, pedal boats and S.U.P. rentals or find a unique gift or souvenir for someone special.

Marvin Braude Bike Path

The Marvin Braude Bike Path runs through the harbor and is a great way to explore the surrounding beaches. The bike path is 22-miles and goes south to Redondo Beach and north to Will Rogers State Beach.  You will see plenty of people using the bike path for running, walking, rollerblading, and even skating.
