Willow Springs Raceway

Overview:

Willow Springs International Motorsports Park is a unique stopover for any van lifer looking to see how fast their van can go around the track. Willow Springs is located about 80 mi north of Los Angeles. The main track is a 2.5-mile long road course. The course is very challenging and provides drivers with elevation changes and high average speeds. This is a great place to watch race races or get out on the track and see what you are made of. Check there for events before you go.

Adventure:

If you have ever wanted to know how fast your van or RV is in the quarter miles, this is the place for you. There are seven race tracks at Willow Springs, with the largest being the Big Willow at 2.5 miles long. 

A few driving schools operate out of Willow Springs that will teach you how to drive. These make for a fun day of racing but can be pricey. You can also sit back and relax and watch the amateurs race around the track. Willow Springs is a good place to check out while you are driving down Route 14.  

Exploring

Vasquez Rocks

Vasquez Rocks is located in the high desert near Agua Dulce Springs and feature spectacular rock formations and a seasonal stream. The park is a popular hiking, picnicking, and horseback riding and has been used in many hit movies, television shows, and commercials. This makes it a perfect day trip for any van lifer looking to get out of Los Angeles.
